However, because the most sought-after Heli-Ski trips sell out 18 months ahead, Ikon Pass holders will receive Early Booking privileges. They will be able to select their preferred trip dates to CMH for the following season one day before the General Public and one day after CMH’s valued Million Foot Club members. Ikon Pass holders also receive 10% off any trip to CMH Cariboos, Bugaboos or Bobbie Burns Lodges in Summer.

Any 20/21 Ikon Pass holder who defers their pass to 21/22 will be eligible for all Ikon Pass benefits, including available spring access, for winter 21/22 once the 21/22 Ikon Pass is purchased. All deferral credits will be deposited in My Account starting April 19, 2021. Should you purchase your 21/22 pass before your credit is deposited for use, you will forgo your credit amount. All pass sales are final. Any pass purchased with valid credit will be eligible for any spring access available after April 19, 2021. You must elect to defer your 20/21 Ikon Pass in My Account by April 11, 2021.

Adventure Assurance credits begin to be calculated after April 11, 2022, the last day to defer 21/22 Ikon Passes. Any eligible 21/22 Adventure Assurance credit will be deposited in My Account beginning April 19, 2022. Should you purchase an Ikon Pass before a credit has been deposited into My Account, the credit amount will not be retroactively applied to your 22/23 Ikon Pass purchase and your purchase cannot be refunded. All purchases are final, non-refundable and non-transferable.

No. There is no fee to take advantage of Adventure Assurance. However, if there is a price increase between the credit amount issued for the 20/21 Ikon Pass and the Ikon Pass purchased for the 21/22 winter season, the pass holder will be responsible for the difference in price. No refund or additional credit will be issued if the price of the 21/22 Ikon Pass purchased is less than the amount of the 20/21 Ikon Pass credit.

Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass, Ikon Base Plus Pass and the Ikon Session Pass 4-Day are all eligible for elements of Adventure Assurance.

Yes. Adventure Assurance is available to Adult, Young Adult, Child, 4 & Under, college students, military personnel and nurses. The pass holder will receive a credit for the actual amount paid for their current Ikon Pass, less any amounts paid for pass insurance, if applicable. Actual age and/or discount categories in place for the following season will apply at the time of the credit redemption and the pass holder will be responsible for any increase if the pass holder is no longer eligible for particular discounts and/or particular discounts are no longer offered.

Ikon Pass holders may make their selection upon purchase through October 12, 2022. All Destinations will be automatically selected for those pass holders who purchase an Ikon Pass after October 12, 2022 or who have not made an election by October 12, 2022.

The All Destinations selection has been automatically made for you. If you choose to change your selection to One Eligible Destination, you have the option to do it in My Account by October 12, 2021.

All Destinations or One Eligible Destination must be selected by October 12, 2022. Once a selection has been made, no changes may . If no selection is made or if you purchase your Ikon Pass after October 12, 2022, All Destinations will automatically be selected.

A destination is considered closed if no lift or gondola operate during the Ikon Pass destination’s normal operating hours due to COVID-19. The destination is considered open as long as one lift or gondola operates for a portion of the Ikon Pass destination’s normal operating hours. The decision to close an Ikon Pass destination due to COVID-19 is made at the sole discretion of the destination’s management team.

Adventure Assurance is not the same thing as pass insurance. Pass insurance offers coverage for injury and other incidents and is available for an extra fee from a third party. Adventure Assurance comes with every Ikon Pass for free and provides options in case of potential COVID-19-related closures.

Credit toward a 21/22 Ikon Pass will expire when the 21/22 Ikon Pass is no longer available for sale, typically in December 2021.

21/22 Ikon Pass deferrals must be elected by the pass holder in My Account by December 9, 2021. Once an unused 21/22 Ikon Pass is deferred, it is no longer eligible for any 21/22 access or benefits, including Adventure Assurance.

Any insurance purchased for your 21/22 pass will also be deferred to your 22/23 pass insurance. The pass holder will be responsible for any 22/23 insurance policy cost increase. If you purchase a lower-priced Ikon Pass product, your insurance policy will carry over, however you will not receive any refund for a decrease in the cost of insurance.
